For the past 2 days I've had really slow speeds, I've not changed anything since the last time I had a problem:
Code:

When i read your story my first thought is that your Internet provider has switched the route to xlned or visa versa. Sins everything worked as it should work for the past 7 months and because everything solved itself last time, i think its fair to say that your connection at home and your computer isn't the problem. I haven't heard that xlned has changed anything, so i assume its your provider. If thats so, then there isn't really much that xlned can do for you. I suggest that you contact suport@xlned.com so they can check your line/there line and your account to rule xlned out..
Before you do, please reset your account. sometimes thats all that it takes to solve problems. You can reset you account at myxlned. If you need any help, please let me know.

Well, same here. For a very long I had absolutely no problems with Xlned, but since some days speed sucked (300 - 400 KB/sec).
Anyway, today I changed my server from "reader4.xlned.com" to reader4.xlned.com" and instantly got my old download speed back (1150 KB/sec (about 980 /KB/sec with SSL). ![]() Weird, isn't it? I thought it doesn't matter anymore which reader server is configured...

Well my speed is back up to 80-90% levels (660KB/sec my max speed from xlned is 770KB/sec ) which is good enough for me, heres what I did, I reset my password a few times and reset my router aswell, and that helped alot but I also found out that my firewall software was causing some network slow downs to some connections (usenet and direct downloads but not all the time
) so I removed it and installed another firewall, I don't understand why this happened after so many months of perfection. Thanks for your help Cheetah. |

Well the speed problems are back, I can't get higher than 80 KB/sec total, yesterday I was getting the full speed of my connection 760 KB/sec, awhile back I had the same problem but it was all due to network problems at XLned that were fixed quite quickly, is anyone else having problems?
