It looks like a couple of 10Gbit ports on our routers stopped forwarding packets. Normally our monitoring system should alert us of this, but this hasn't happened this time. We're still looking into why we were not alerted.

Around 12:00 GMT+1 the problem was noticed, and fixed. Speed should be normal again, if not please send an email to support@xlned.com and we'll look into it.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.

Standaard speed problems too...

I have some speed problems too.

My max Download is by 7.29 MB/s. most is by 6.5x MB/S.

I have the XL Gold package and my internet connection is very fast !


My router settings are ok and a test with DMZ options will no speed up anymore :-(

Any ideas ?

Hi,

I have noticed a considerable drop in speeds in the evening, I am on the Gold package. During the morning I do get my full possible speed, but from 6pm it dramatically drops to roughly 50kb/s. All other downloads at this time are fine, and a speed test shows connection in excess of 30mb/s.

Can you please help?

Well the speed problems have come back

Speed was perfect before my account expired on the 16/05/2011, I renewed my account on the same day it expired and from then on I haven't been able get past 400 KB/s when I usually was able to get well above 800 KB/s, I'm on the XL BASIC plan, heres one of my current traceroutes:

I have some speed problems on XL SMALL account getting only 350-400kbs

Same here, can't get over 130kbps today. Capped my connection with the trial but now getting crappy speeds since I started paying on the 13th.

Hey,
I'm a new customer with an XL LITE account. For the first like 30 GB the speed was as promised. Now, however, the speed is pretty stable at 25 kb/s (= 0.2 Mbit/s).

Is there some kind of traffic limit after which the connection gets throtteld at 25 kb/s?
